Carjon-NRG are a Technology Deployment Services Company, Delivering Energy Innovation around the world.

Established in 2015 during the global Oil & Gas downturn to support Operators and their Technology Suppliers on their Energy Transition Journey,  we help realise the true potential of appropriate Innovation and Technology implementation and deployment in addressing key challenges managing safe,  efficient and cost effective operations whilst reducing emissions.

Headquartered in Aberdeen to support Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy projects on an international basis,  our experienced team and subject matter expert consultants provide a range of support services delivering energy innovation that brings significant value to our Clients, the Environment, and our Communities.

Aligned to North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA), Energy Security & Net Zero Strategies as well as Offshore Energies UK (OEUK)  led Energy Transition Roadmap 2035, we support projects and initiatives focused on:-

Since 2015, we have supported multiple Business Development, Export, Internationalisation, Inward Investment and Technology Deployment projects.

In June 2020, Carjon-NRG became the UK Partner for TechnologyCatalogue.com to help deliver energy innovation in the UK & International Oil, Gas & Energy markets (See “Technology” Section).

With over 40 years in Oil, Gas & Energy, Colin has deployed specialist equipment and innovative technologies in Offshore & Onshore locations internationally, managed operations in high growth completions company Petroleum Engineering Services (PES), a Halliburton company, developed numerous technology companies (some through to acquisition) and became Managing Director & Vice President OPTIMA, a TETRA Company.  For 25 years Colin has also supported many conferences & exhibitions to share knowledge by establishing industry challenges and helping the organisers identify relevant abstracts, case studies and informative technology presentations, he is also the co-inventor / co-originator of numerous patents and software applications

Colin is a Contractor Advisory Council member of Offshore Energies UK (OEUK), former Vice Chair of OEUK Led Efficiency Task Force (ETF), SPE Aberdeen Director,  Offshore Achievements Awards (OAA) Judge,  committee member of Energy Institute, AHI branch, member of The Chartered Management Institute and chaired the hugely successful NASA in Aberdeen “Inspiring the Next Generation” collaborative Schools education project and is also an active STEM Ambassador.

For his voluntary technical event support internationally and for “Inspiring the Next Generation”,  in 2017, Colin received a “Distinguished Service Award” & became a “Distinguished Member” of The Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPEI), in 2018 he was appointed a www.globalscot.com by the Scottish Government and in 2020 he received an “Award of Council” from the Energy Institute. In 2022, he also created “Explorers – Inspiring the Next Generation” to further support pupils around the world reach their “Positive Destinations” and in 2023 Colin received “Significant Contribution” recognition at the SPE Offshore Achievements Awards.
